Blue Plate Special is a band of individuals that have a passion for playing and creating rock & blues music that is true to the musical styles. Collectively and diligently, Blue Plate Special has worked hard over the past ten years to create a sound that people long for, pure Rock & Blues.

Blue Plate Special is comprised of Peter Saia, Lead Guitar, Dan Kimpel, Bass Guitar, Randy Kuehn, Drums, and Nick Kanavas, lead vocals, harmonica, and rhythm guitar. The Band Brings an edgy style of guitar oriented classic Blues and Southern Rock to the stage. The BPS sound is influenced by great musicians such as Robin Trower, Eric Clapton, SRV, Joe Bonamassa, ZZ Top and the Black Crowes. Front-man Nick Kanavas' energy and stage presence excites crowds and drives the girls crazy. Dan (Bass) and Randy (Drums) put a solid rock pulse into the band. Peter Saia's lead guitar sings over the rhythm section along with Nick's vocals to make for a truly entertaining show. The Musicians of Blue Plate Special are all dedicated to the same mission: to produce authentic and pure Rock and Blues music. Their audiences are as passionate about the music as they are, and continuously come out, over and over again, to hear music as it was meant to be played.
